Your faith is like a spring of life that will never run dry, and soon you will enjoy the kingdom of truth.
Through media, God is reaching the hearts and minds of Arabs across the region in miraculous ways. The story of Abram* is a beautiful example of how God is calling individuals in hard-to-reach places, where the gospel cannot be openly shared, and individuals do not have the freedom to explore faith without fear.
Earlier this year, Abram, living in Syria, made contact with the media team to share about a powerful dream he had had, and to request their support.
In his dream, Abram was about to fall from the edge of a cliff when Jesus took his hand and pulled him upwards.
‘Do you know who I am?’ Jesus asked. Abram somehow knew he was Isa, which is the name for Jesus in the Qur’an, where he is described as the Messiah, but not the Son of God.
‘Many call me by that name,’ Jesus said, ‘and other names as well. Do you know the name I love to be called?’
In awe, Abram said he would call him by whatever name he wished. Jesus answered, ‘Call me the Saviour.’ Then he embraced Abram, who, without knowing why, closed his eyes and wept deeply on Jesus’ chest.
‘Truly, I tell you,’ Jesus continued to speak, ‘your faith is like a spring of life that will never run dry, and soon you will enjoy the kingdom of truth.’
Jesus’ words have now come true. With support from the media team, Abram has given his heart and life to Jesus, his Saviour, and since then arrangements have been made for him to meet up with partners at a local church.
Having accepted Christ, Abram writes, ‘Do you know how I feel now? I feel intense love and deep devotion towards him. I long for him as though I have always lived in his presence. As though my heart knew him before my mind ever did. As though he has always surrounded me with love and mercy. He is Lord of the universe.’
In the first half of the year, from January to June 2026, over 10,600 individuals messaged the media team online. Not all conversations result in fruitful encounters, as some individuals are hostile towards the Christian faith, but most are men and women truly seeking answers to their deep longings and questions of faith. The team of digital responders have been sharing Bible scripture, having meaningful conversations and supporting individuals in their first steps to following Christ. We praise God that in the first half of the year 407 individuals have given their lives to Christ. And 74 face-to-face meetings were facilitated. Enquirers downloaded more than 2,900 digital Bibles. Twelve new believers have taken the next step in their faith and been baptised, which is a hugely significant step for someone from a Muslim background.
