Jesus commissions his church to ‘make disciples of all nations’ (Matthew 28:19), to preach good news to the poor and to release the oppressed (Luke 4:18) .
In Pioneers, we firmly believe that it is the church that sends missionaries, and that we as the mission agency, have a specific role and privilege of partnering with the local church.
Part of this partnership involves enthusing fellowships. Throughout the year we travel throughout the UK and Ireland inspiring and challenging congregations with God’s heart for the nations and inviting people to step out in faith and take part in mission. We have led tailor-made trainings on cross-cultural mission and have run weekend outreach teams for a church strategically placed in a city with more than 37,000 Muslims. Imagine the impact not only on the host church but each fellowship hearing the testimonies of God at work through their enthused church member.
